Town travelled to Chertsey expecting a more physical game than last weeks visit from Egham Town. The first half was fairly even with both teams trying to get on top. Chertsey came close with 2 set pieces, but other than these chances Town's defence of Winsor, Weller , T Jupp and Hodge had the Chertsey forwards under control. Town's Gilbert hit the Chertsey woodwork twice from free kicks, one in each half. The second half saw the game have very few highlights with both teams cancelling each other out all over the pitch. Town brought on Youth team captain Liam Cox and his teamate Rhys Brown for the last 10 mins and Cox almost won it after Gilberts shot was saved by the keeper, Cox followed up and looked to have an easy chance to put the ball away, but his shot hit the Chertsey keeper when the back of the net looked an easier option.
