Horley were hoping to make it into the next round of the FA vase after their victory in the FA Cup at East Preston. 3 mins into the game the game went the operasite way Aly Rennie Town’s Manager had planned when Selsey took the lead. Horley regrouped and settled down and started to get back into the game. Both teams were having chances and with Selsey having a striker who was faster than the Town back four it was always going to give the horley supporters a few nervous moments. Their nerves were settled when Josh Howells sent over what is called a crossshot! The Selsey keeper misjudged it and Town were level. The second half saw more of the same with both teams battleing to get into the next round. on 68 mins Dave Powell scored a superb header when he got in front of his marker. Town were now going to keep the lead and with Simon Lockwood in inspirational form in the Town Goal Horley were through to the next round.
